DRY RUN / HOST / ACTION PLAN

We offer two dates for a dry run to test your setup (webcam, mic).
The dry run happens in PERSONAL REGISTRATION link for GoToWebinar.
Our Conference Host, Davina Leonard, will be there to introduce herself and her ACTION PLAN.

ICE uses GoTo Webinar. You don't need a subscription.
Use your PERSONAL REGISTRATION link for GoToWebinar.
Please be mindful on which day you present.
It will state you are a "panelist", but it is the same login type for all contributors.
Your PERSONAL REGISTRATION is valid for all conference days but is dated only for the first day, which is a bug, see example in image:

Presentations: 30-35 minutes / Please use the provided powerpoint template
Screen sharing is provided in GoToWebinar.
Live Q&A: 5 - 10 minutes
Extended Q&A on Discord (right after your live Q&A for about 30 mins): Would be amazing to have you there, but is not a must. If you're interested, please let Matthias Buehler know.

- If you are not regularly presenting, or a non-native English speaker, please practice.
- Be mindful of people that may not understand your technical lingo.
- Ask Matthias Buehler for structural advice of the presentation.
If you cannot present live, we can play a pre-recorded video presentation as an exception.
Let Matthias Buehler know if your presentation cannot be published on youtube for certain reasons (see legal points further down).

LEGAL INFO

It is the intention to record the presentations and upload them to the ICE youtube channel, for public viewing.
If you have any audio tracks that might be copyrighted, please contact the organizers in any case. The video upload of the recorded sessions to youtube will otherwise run into copyright strikes.
If you are showing confidential content which cannot be shared on youtube publicly, there are two options we offer:
1. ICE will provide the presentation as unlisted video on youtube, only those individuals who have registered for the conference, but missed it. This video will then be permanently deleted 30 days after the end of the conference.
2. ICE will never publish the video, in any form.
We use the webinar platform GoTo Webinar which needs a personal registration by each attendee.
