RULES & GUIDELINES
1 - The Intention of the panel
The intention of the professional review panel is to select a number of portfolio entries for review that are, in their opinion, most suitable to discuss creative aspects, technical and business aspects to name a few. The selection will happen solely at the discretion of the panel and there will be no communication before, during or after the reviews in relation to the selections made for review.
2 - The intention of the artist
As an artist it is important to have a narrative for your portfolio:
- Why do you have one?
- What do you hope to achieve?
- Is the narrative of the portfolio clear?
3 - Expectations
You may have certain expectations as to what entails a review of your portfolio. If by chance yours is selected for review you may ( but are not required to ) add your expectations with your entry for the panels consideration. If your portfolio is chosen, you will be informed in a timely manner.
The portfolio will be shown through screen sharing during the conference by the ICE organizers, the artist does not need to present the portfolio. It's not mandatory that the artist attends the conference, but it may be helpful in case questions arise during the review.

- All work displayed in your submitted portfolio is by your hand.
- Nothing in your portfolio infringes on other parties' copyrights, confidentiality agreements , or similar (e.g. NDAs). Any and all violations are solely the responsibility of the artist submitting the portfolio and all consequences that may result in legal action as a result of such infringement are for the submitting person.
- By submitting a portfolio you extend the right to ICE and the ICE organization to display and discuss your portfolio during the conference but also as part of a conference summary video on YouTube and other Social Media platforms after the conference. The artist will not be compensated for the use of this art financially or otherwise.
- ICE and the ICE organization will delete any and all portfolio files after the conference and nothing will be held on file. This is to protect the artist’s work and privacy.
- ICE and the ICE organization may NOT use your portfolio for anything other than the ICE Conference and ICE related content for its promotion.
- Portfolios may be displayed in full. If your portfolio contains personal data such as name, phone number or email address and you do NOT want these displayed, please remove this information from the portfolio prior to submission.
- Submissions after the cutoff date will not be considered for review.
- The reviews are done for educational purposes. If your portfolio is reviewed, you might receive constructive critique. If you are not ok with that you may want to reconsider submitting your portfolio.
