RULES & GUIDELINES

1 - Meaning of the Key Visual

The idea of the Key Visual is to showcase actual artwork of the community and bind it into the conference identity. As artists are a central part in the vision of the conference, this is our way of celebrating art and creativity.

Please note that it is not the intent that you need to create an image from scratch.

2 - The Jury

  • The Jury will be formed of at least 5 industry professionals. The Jury will be announced soon.
  • The selection of the winners will happen solely at the discretion of the Jury and there will be no communication before, during or after the reviews in relation to the selections made for review.

3 - Visual Specification & Submission

  • The Key Visual is basically one (1) image which is the background for other visuals with conference text. It must roughly work with the template mask image (see right).
  • Artwork theme: Open, as long as it is somehow connected to the topic of 3D environments or technical or creative process of creating them. This can be anything like a 2D or 3D render, a sketch, a blueprint, or an architectural design to name a few examples
  • The image should best be overall in a dark theme with some bright spots.
  • At least 4096x4096 pixels. Image can also be non-square (ICE team will crop).
  • The image must not be mainly generated with AI. Work in progress pictures, wireframes, … must be provided. In doubt, the Jury may exclude the entry or send follow-up questions.
  • Short text description about the artwork, its inspiration and creation process.
  • Send the visual to [email protected]. Use a file transfer system for large files.
